Boom and Title

So, I came up with a place to put the title of the film, all in all, it will be appearing in the 4th scene of the movie, which is a bit strange, I suppose, but it will hopefully turn out ok.



And here are some of the high-action scenes, with explosions and stuff.

KABLAMO!

Found a nice little method for doing explosions in 3DS Max. No particles, volumetric lights or expensive plug-ins required, plus it renders pretty damn fast too. Here is the tutorial from youtube of how it can be used, although, personally I find tht it doesn't really work that well if you're going for the realistic look. Since, with Spark, I'm going really cartoony, I think this method will work nicely.

TV Show

So I decided to have a little robot-themed tv show on the TV screen in the 2nd flashback. Animated in After Effects, surprisingly took a bit longer then expected. But I like it now, for the simple animation it is...

Actually decided to make this a lot...cozier, then I originally intended. Space is expensive in the future.



First time I put the characters intro a scene, hopefully the don't fade into the background too much.
